EVE’S STORY
A lifelong curiosity became a life’s work
Eve is the founder of Dogaholics and a qualified dog and cat trainer and behaviour consultant. Her fascination with animal behaviour began at six, when she bought a mouse with her pocket money and set out to teach him tricks. He escaped before the training really began, but her curiosity stayed.
More than 24 years later, Eve’s knowledge and experience continue to shape the practical, positive support provided by the Dogaholics team.
Giving back has also been an important part of her journey. For more than 16 years, Eve has worked with rescue groups including Dog Rescue Newcastle and Jo’s Cat Haven, helping animals prepare for and settle into loving homes.

Knowledge backed by recognised qualifications
Dog training and behaviour support are largely unregulated in Australia. Dogaholics believes pet parents deserve guidance informed by recognised qualifications, practical experience and an ongoing commitment to professional development.
Eve also trains and assesses assistance dogs, teaches Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour and Training, and supports Dog Rescue Newcastle. In 2013, she received the APDT and Black Dog Wear Scholarship in recognition of her commitment to professional development.

Eve is an accredited and certified dog and cat trainer and behaviour consultant. She is also a Provisional K9 Nose Work® Instructor, Greenhound Assessor, MindDog assessor and trainer, and behavioural assessor for dogs declared menacing or dangerous.
